Your work doesn't look amateur, on the contrary your sketches of the river and of town are great is only your portraits that need workink and that only gets better by practicing and practicing, I always did people instead of what surrounds people and find myself struggling to do the city and cars and haven't yet tried boats and river!! keep working that's the secret
Nice sketch aminsaim. I like how dynamic the boat is with its foreshortened perspective. It adds a lot of interest to the sketch
